Dennis Patchin / 700 ESPN Program Director

Dennis Patchin is one of the most recognizable sports personalities in the Pacific Northwest and has been with KXLY4 since 1984. He has covered everything from the Rose Bowl to the Mariners post-season; from the Spokane Chiefs winning the Memorial Cup to 25 State 'B' Tournaments, 25 Bloomsdays and every Hoopfest.

Dennis also has been the television voice for every team in Spokane and many others around the area, including the Spokane Chiefs, Gonzaga Bulldogs, Washington State Cougars, Idaho Vandals, Eastern Washington Eagles, Whitworth Priates, Spokane Indians, and G.S.L. football and basketball.

Along with Rick Lukens, Patchin came up with the idea for Friday Night Sports Extra, which in 2005 celebrated its 20th anniversary. It was one of the first shows of its kind in the nation and is the longest running high school football show in the West.

Dennis also was the voice of the Gonzaga Bulldogs on radio for four seasons, during which the Zags went to three straight Sweet 16 tournaments in the post-season. In addition, he was the television voice of Gonzaga Basketball games for five years, and the voice of Big Sky Conference Football for three years on Fox Sports Northwest.

Dennis hosts a popular two-hour radio show at 3 p.m. Monday through Friday on 700 ESPN The Ticket with Keith Osso.

When Dennis has free time, he likes to spend it on the golf course or on his boat at the lake.

Dennis recently celebrated his 28th wedding anniversary with his wife Dorothy, a school teacher in Spokane. They have three children, Christopher, Matthew and Lauren.
